You'll often see Zilla bracketed alongside Quelle Chris and billy woods under the alternative rap/hip hop banner. I'm not so sure, but he is a bit different. Lots of cultural references from different eras, "Revolution #36" being, as it's title might suggest, loaded with Beatles references. The record is full of excellent melodies, and I even get a bit of a 70s musical vibe from "Doobie Brothers feat Alaska". Grab this EP guys, you won't regret it. Gavin Hellyer
